Moliyachi is the official finance app of the Ministry of Economy and Finance of Uzbekistan, available on the App Store and Play Market and serving over 1,000,000 users. At this scale, every confusing screen turns into thousands of support requests.
I joined the IT Center of the Ministry as a UX/UI designer and took ownership of the app's core flows. Beyond screens, I built a scalable design system that is now used by 3+ designers and 40+ developers across ministry products, and integrated it into the team's day-to-day workflow.
Research first: user interviews, surveys and usability testing shaped the priorities. From there — wireframes, high-fidelity prototypes and iteration in agile sprints together with PMs and engineers.
The design system came out of necessity: with 40+ developers shipping in parallel, consistency could not depend on hand-checking every screen. Tokens and documented components became the single source of truth.
- 1M+users served by the redesigned flows
- 40+developers building on the design system
- 3+designers working in one shared system
